Named in honour of William Cavendish, the 6th Duke of Devonshire, this variety has a sturdy trunk and almost velvet looking bright green leaves.

Ideal Conditions:

Best grown in sunny, sheltered positions to prevent the wind from shredding its foliage.

Possible Situation:

Ideal specimen plant for sheltered gardens, either for the border or containers, but also great in a well lit indoor area or conservatory.
