Narrative Description:

Known as the 'Parrot's Beak' due to the shape of the bright red flower which presents itself from the fine, trailing silver foliage. Please note that this genus usually needs a cooling period over winter in order to flower in the summer. If they survive through winter after the first year planting, they will therefore usually flower in the second year.

Ideal Conditions:

Prefers full sun, or partial shade with free-draining soil or compost.

Possible Situation:

An ideal candidate for a basket - it will not fail to please.
