This absolute cracker has to be seen to be believed. Closely related to species setosa and pulvinata, but with more pronounced vibrant velvet-burgundy colour foliage as the plant develops. Perfect for any patio pot or rockery. It loves the heat of summer and will repay with its rich, luxuriant colour!
Ideal Conditions:
Prefers full sun, or partial shade with free-draining soil or compost.
Possible Situation:
Perfectly suited for planting in gravel gardens, paved areas, rockeries and small containers. Try mixing with other succulents and alpines.
