We love this recent introduction of the Lavender world. ‘Phenomenal’ is incredibly tough, with abundant sprays of purple-blue flowers, high in essential oils, so they emit and intense, heady fragrance. Tolerant of both cold and heat and seems resistant to many of the foliar and root diseases that can be common for less tolerant varieties. This variety is quite sizeable, reaching up to a nearly a metre within just a few years, so good for containers at least for a season, but also borders and beds.

We love this recent introduction of the Lavender world. ‘Phenomenal’ is incredibly tough, with abundant sprays of purple-blue flowers, high in essential oils, so they emit and intense, heady fragrance. This variety is quite sizeable, reaching up to a nearly a metre within just a few years, so good for containers at least for a season, but also borders and beds.

Ideal Conditions:

Prefers full sun or partial shade in free draining soil or compost.

Possible Situation:

The wonderful foliage and summer flowers lend themselves to many situations within the garden or courtyard, either in the bowl, tub, herb garden, or just to create that fragrant spot for everybody's enjoyment.
